About the subject of Medical Psychology and Sociology

I am a Lecturer and a licensed clinical psychologist specialized in clinical assessment and psychological diagnosis. I perform cognitive, emotional, behavioral, psychophysiological, as well as personality assessments of patients with psychiatric pathology. Also, I am a psychotherapist specialized in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with a clinical experience with patients/clients suffering of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, phobias (including agoraphobia and social phobia), social anxiety, stress, bulimia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and personality disorders. I am an international member of American Psychological Association (APA) and Association for Contextual Behavioral Sciences (ACBS).

I have four years of experience in designing and delivering different psychology-related courses and trainings, including undergraduate and graduate level courses. Additionally, I lecture interns or residents; and reviews various medical curriculums (e.g., continuing medical education trainings included in some postgraduate programs).

I am responsible for teaching the Medical Psychology and Sociology; Behavioral Sciences; Patient-Doctor Communication; and Medical Ethics courses.
