UMFST-UMCH Awards Honorary Professorship to Dr. Michael Klein
Ceremonial event with inaugural lecture on trauma care
During a ceremonial event, UMFST-UMCH awarded Dr. Michael Klein an honorary professorship. The occasion recognized his outstanding contributions and brought together university leadership, faculty members, students, and invited guests for a special academic celebration.
The ceremony began with an introduction to the occasion and the welcoming of Dr. Michael Klein and the distinguished guests. Hon. Prof. Christopher Musmann, representing the UMCH Campus Management, then delivered a greeting on behalf of the campus leadership.
The musical program opened with a harp performance by Roswitha Lingslebe, adding a festive atmosphere to the event. The central moment of the evening followed with the ceremonial awarding of the honorary professorship: Prof. Mureșan, Vice-Rector of UMFST, officially conferred the title and presented the certificate.
Another musical highlight was provided by Zakaria Rachidi, a third-year medical student, who enriched the ceremony with a piano performance.
The event concluded with the inaugural lecture by Hon. Prof. Dr. Michael Klein. In his talk titled “Damage Control in Trauma Care,” he addressed a key topic in modern emergency and trauma medicine and offered insights into a highly relevant medical field.
