Blood Donation Campaign at the UMCH Campus (German Red Cross)

Together we can make a difference!

On March 11, 2021, a blood donation campaign of the German Red Cross will take place at the UMCH campus in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld. Thus, our students will get the chance to donate blood directly and without problems and thereby potentially save lives.

Many people are dependent on blood reserves. All in all, every third person needs a blood transfusion at least once in their life. That is why every single donation you make helps. It is of course particularly helpful if you have a rare blood group such as B- or AB- or blood group 0, since in this case you are considered a so-called universal donor.

We, as UMCH, together with our students, want to contribute to public health and therefore call on you to appear in large numbers and participate in the campaign.
