Welcome Days 2023

On September 21 and 22, 2023, the Welcome Days for first-year students for the 2023/24 academic year will be held at UMFST-UMCH.

• Study Groups 1-6: Thursday, September 21, 2023
• Study Groups 7-12: Friday, September 22, 2023

Day 1 (Sept. 21, 2023) - 9:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Day 1 (Sept. 21, 2023) - 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Day 2 (Sept. 22, 2023) - 9:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Day 2 (Sept. 22, 2023) - 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

The following schedule applies to both days:

8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. – Registration

Please register at the registration point between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m.

Ready, Set, Register: At the registration point you will get your student ID card and your bus & train ticket.

Important: Don’t forget your original graduate certificate. You have to hand it out at the registration station.

9:45 a.m. – 10 a.m. – Welcome Warm Up

15 minutes for some games to familiarize yourself with each other and set the mood before the official program begins.

10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Meet the Dean

UMFST-UMCH in 90 Minutes – an introduction to the new academic year with insights into the timetable, campus rules, regulations and structure. Afterwards there will be time for a Q&A session.

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Lunch Break

We invite you to eat delicious food and network in the UMCH Cafeteria!

Please pick up your lab coat in the cafeteria.

1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Study Survival Guide

Everybody needs some buddy – UMFST-UMCH Students present the Top 10 tips for your studies in Human Medicine at UMFST-UMCH.

Group picture + campus tour with your buddies and subsequent networking in the lounge area.

Evening – Nightlife Program with the Buddies

If you want to meet your new friends in the evening, the buddies invite you to a bar tour.

Time and meeting point will be announced during the Welcome Days by your buddies!
