The exact date on which the winter semester begins is determined each year. However, it is always a date between the end of September and mid-October. The corresponding date for the respective winter semester is always announced in a timely manner – as soon as it is determined – and published online.
You complete your studies at UMFST-UMCH with an internal university final examination instead of the state examination. This has the advantage that you are prepared by lecturers for an exam that they themselves have designed. Thus, you are optimally and tailor-made taught with regard to the final examination. In addition, you will complete and present a written scientific thesis under the supervision of a lecturer.
You can participate in the admission process at any time and easily. It is not necessarily required to travel to one of our admission dates in Hamburg. There is the possibility to participate online – via video call – in the short evaluation and the motivation-based interview.
You need the following documents for the application:
- Current passport photo
- Copy of your valid ID card or passport
- Proof of highest educational qualification (e.g., high school diploma or university entrance qualification)
- Curriculum vitae
- Motivation letter
- Proof of internships or relevant experience in the medical field (if available)
- Proof of language skills in English (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) and German (e.g., TestDaF, DSH) - depending on the requirements of the study program
