In the immediate vicinity of the residence hall, there are numerous shopping facilities, restaurants, parks, and sports. There is even a supermarket on the ground floor of the building, so long walks with full shopping bags belong to the past. The Urban Living is a modern housing complex with different types of apartments in Hamburg’s Ottensen district – not far from UMCH. The size of the apartments is – depending on the type – between 20 and 43 m². The apartments are all high-class and modernly furnished and equipped with their own kitchen and bathroom. In addition, the majority of the apartments have a balcony or a (roof) terrace. Other advantages of the residence include features such as a smartphone app, regular community events including catering, apartment cleaning and a parcel delivery service.
