Academic Year Kickoff at UMCH: Welcoming 170 New Students

The new academic year at the UMCH (University Targu Mures Medical Campus Hamburg) was officially inaugurated with a celebratory opening ceremony. We were delighted to welcome over 170 new students to our campus. With more than 800 students from over 40 nations, UMCH continues to exemplify its commitment to international diversity and academic excellence.

The event was hosted by Celina Kehl, with an inspiring lineup of speakers:

🔹 Assoc. Prof. Andreea Varga, a member of the UMFST-UMCH administration team, opened the ceremony.

🔹 Paula Bredeck and Philipp Richter, from the Student Council, shared their experiences and gave valuable advice to the new students.

🔹 Assoc. Prof. Simona Muresan, also from the UMFST-UMCH administration team, closed the speeches with a motivational outlook for the upcoming academic year.
