As of 2019, a pre-degree preparatory course will be offered. It is a 3- or 6-week paid course in scientific subjects, which prepares students specifically for medical studies. Within the framework of the course, the fundamentals of biology, chemistry, and physics are revised. Moreover, the curriculum contents of the first year are anticipated by giving future medical students an introduction to human anatomy, physiology, embryology, and histology. In this way, all course participants have the opportunity to refresh and deepen their current scientific and medical knowledge and at the same time acquire new knowledge. An important part of the course is also the systematic teaching of medical terminology. Since the course is taught in English, participants automatically acquire the medical vocabulary in the international scientific language.
