Application period for Winter Semester 2020/21 at UMCH has started

If you want to begin your medical studies at UMCH in Hamburg next year, then apply for a university slot via our online application portal. The application period for the Winter Semester 2020/21 has already begun. There are no restrictions based on school notes. Instead, admission is based on the results of the HMS Admission Test.

The following dates for participation in the HMS Admission Test have already been set:

• 10/26/2019 (Application deadline: 10/23/2019)
• 11/6/2019 (Application deadline: 11/1/2019)
• 11/23/2019

The HMS Admission Test consists of a written multiple-choice test and a personal interview conducted immediately afterwards. The written test covers the topics of biology, chemistry and general knowledge. The interview deals with the motivation and English language skills of the applicants.

Since the limited study slots at UMCH are allocated successively, it is advantageous if you apply as early as possible. This greatly increases the chances that you will get one of the coveted study slots.
