On March 18, 2022, under the direction of Assoc. Prof. Mircea Muresan, MD, PhD and Assist. Ioan-Alexandru Balmos, MD, Ph the workshop “Vascular Surgery – Sutures and Anastomoses of the Aorta” took place at the campus in Hamburg. During this workshop, students learned new skills in the field of vascular surgery. To make the situation as realistic as possible, pig aortas and hearts were available as training objects.
