Our Open Campus Day took place this weekend

Last Saturday our big Open Campus Day took place. Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. potential students from all over the world got the chance to get an impression of our campus in Hamburg that will soon open.

In addition to the opportunity to inspect the premises of the university, there were also a series of lectures that offered a comprehensive view of the medical studies at UMCH. Among other topics, the 3-week pre-medical preparatory course of the UMCH was presented, which prepares future students for the coming years in Hamburg. Further topics were our teaching hospital EVK Mettmann and a general presentation of medical studies at UMCH. In addition, prospective students were given the opportunity to use our virtual anatomy dissection table and therefore gain an impression of the innovative technology that awaits them at our university. In personal discussions there was also the possibility of individual consultation in which the respective interests and circumstances of students were specifically addressed.
