The foundation for your medical studies

Our 3-week Pre-Medical Course is aimed at all those who wish to acquire the greatest possible amount of scientific information within the shortest time possible while at the same time deepening their preexisting knowledge. The course’s emphasis is placed on biology, chemistry and physics. Topics covered include cell biology, anatomy, physiology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, basic biochemistry, mechanics, electricity and optics.

The crash course, which takes place in a university environment on UMCH‘s campus in Hamburg, is taught by international lecturers with many years of experience. These include professors, doctors, teachers, chemists, physicists and biologists. They will teach you the most important theoretical basics in their respective fields. The learning takes place in small practice groups, which ensures individual support. Additionally, regular multiple-choice tests help you to evaluate your previous level of knowledge. At the end of the course you will receive a participant certificate.

Sound knowledge of the natural sciences is the basis for successful medical studies and makes it easier for you to start at UMCH. The Pre-Medical Course therefore prepares you optimally for your future medical studies.

If you have already mastered one or two of the subjects taught during the 3 weeks well enough or if you are limited in time, a partial booking is also possible.
