Reading with Dr. med. Peter Weisenseel

Reading: “Poser trifft Syphilis & Co.” (Language: German)

On May 4, 2022, Dr. med. Peter Weisenseel will hold a German-language reading at the campus in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld. He is the author of the book “Syphilis & Co.: Ein Arzt klär auf” (“Syphilis & Co.: A Doctor Clarifies”). In this book he provides information – free of outdated stigmas – about the supposedly taboo subject of “sexually transmitted diseases”. During his reading, he will vividly discuss the medical aspects associated with this topic, using anecdotes from practice.

Dr. Weisenseel is a specialist in skin and venereal diseases at the Dermatologikum in Hamburg, for which he has been working for 10 years. Previously, he worked at the LMU Klinikum in Munich and in clinical research for major pharmaceutical companies. In addition, he is the author of numerous scientific publications and contributions to specialist books and regularly travels to national and international congresses to give lectures. In addition to “Syphilis & Co: Ein Arzt klärt auf”, he has also written the novel “Poser tanzen nicht” (“Posers Don’t Dance”).
