On October 18, 2022, the university’s own Junior Researcher Academy held an event in the auditorium of the UMFST-UMCH Campus in Hamburg. The title of the event was “No Medical Advancement without Research – UMFST-UMCH: Strategy, Opportunity and Translational Impact”. Its purpose was to provide information on research opportunities for UMFST-UMCH students in pre-clinical and clinical settings.

For this purpose, some of the most renowned researchers of UMFST-UMCH as well as a PhD student who presented an ongoing research project came to speak.

The program was structured as follows:

Pre-Clinical Research

Prof. Amelia Tero-Vescan (Vice-dean of the Faculty of Medicine in English)
