Successful Presentation of UMCH at Medica 2023 in Düsseldorf

From November 13 to 16, 2023, UMCH participated as an exhibitor in the prestigious trade fair, Medica. The participation provided an outstanding opportunity to showcase the innovative educational concept and the advantages of the university’s international network to a wide audience.

With more than 5,000 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors, Medica is the world’s largest trade fair in the medical technology industry. Since 1974, it has served as an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and innovations in the field of medicine. The fair took place in Düsseldorf, providing a platform for leading institutions, companies, and organizations to present their latest developments.

UMCH seized the opportunity not only to present its outstanding educational concept but also to establish important collaborations for the planned Simulation Center at the Hamburg campus. The Simulation Center will play a crucial role in the practical training of medical students and promote innovative teaching methods.

During the fair, numerous contacts were made with potential cooperation partners who could be involved in the establishment of the Simulation Center. This will contribute to the promotion of research and innovation in the field of medicine at the Hamburg campus in the future.
