April 23, 2021

Informationsveranstaltung zu 2-monatigen ERASMUS-Praktika am UMCH

A digital open doors event was held on April 21, 2021 for UMCH students to learn about the upcoming opportunity for a paid two-month traineeship that can be completed in the period between July 1 and September 15, 2021 as part of the ERASMUS program, as well as about the program in general. Thus, second-year students will get the chance to apply for one of 25 available places between April 26 and April 30, 2021. The corresponding traineeships can be completed in public or private medical institutions – such as clinics, hospitals, or practices. During the information event, the exact procedure of the application procedure was explained as well as the subsequent steps that must be carried out by the students in order to obtain one of the coveted places.

The various presentations by international students of the university, in which they spoke about their personal ERASMUS experiences, were among the highlights of the event. They reported, for example, on the many travel opportunities they had taken advantage of, the friendships they had been able to make, and the cultural enrichment they had personally experienced in connection with their stays abroad. They also described the practical experience they had gained at the respective universities or – in the case of traineeships – medical institutions.

For those who could not be present at the event, an extensive page with general information about the ERASMUS program as well as all relevant details about the application procedure and a discussion room will be additionally published on Canvas on Monday, April 26.
