Resilient throughout your studies – with the UMCH Counseling Program

November 22, 2019

During their time at UMCH, our students are given the opportunity to benefit from the university’s individual counseling program. The program, which has proven extremely successful over the years, has already helped thousands of students on their way to medical school. The focus is on helping students in their professional orientation and psychological support in times of personal crisis.

Depending on the personality profiles as well as the individual strengths and weaknesses of the respective students, they learn to become more independent and to make the right decisions regarding their professional orientation. In addition, they are specifically prepared for the real conditions of the labor market and the demands of potential employers. This makes it much easier for them to enter working life at a later stage. Through psychological support and research in the field of psychology, which are also part of the program, students also develop mental strength. Thus, they are well prepared for the stress they are exposed to during their studies and subsequent professional life.
